Computer lab inaugurated at FUUAST

KARACHI Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Qaiser on Friday inaugurated the state-of-the-art computer laboratory in the Department of Computer Science and Information Science, FUUAST. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony held at the university’s main campus, the FUUAST VC Prof Dr Muhammad Qaiser, who is also serving as KU VC, said the research work was considered as an identity of any university.  “The FUUAST has established various latest laboratories in many departments during the last four years. Department of Computer Science is one of the said departments, where students are engaged in their research work day and night. During the last 10 years, the computer science department has made commendable progress.” IT Director Prof Dr Abdul Qadeer said the university was offering MS programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Networking and Software.
